AWESOME day on Saturday!!, wide awake at 5am because I was excited/nervous (always am on derby match), didn’t have to be up until 7am, coach left at just gone 9am, stopped off for 30mins at service station, had an hilarious game of bingo on the coach because Wendy who calls it was pissed already (it was to win money and alcohol, but I didn’t win), coach dropped us off at the stadium around 12ish, all of us walked about 20mins to then get a bus into Manchester city centre, although everyone except 5 of us were walking very slow and missed the bus we got on (I can’t believe it was £2.10 for a single), so the 5 of us sat outside Tiger Tiger for a pint and then walked down to Walkabout to meet Sophie, Gemma and 2 of their friends who usually go on the coach but didn’t as they were staying in Manchester for the night, after a few drinks in there we then got 2 taxis to the stadium as it cost about the same as a bus and then went in the fan zone at the stadium were we then met Sarah, Joe, Iain and quite a few other people, then after a while it was time for the match!!, we lost by 2 points :(, besides losing and the price of bus fair and alcohol I still had a great time, the atmosphere on the coach on the way home was as good as it was going even with our team losing, got back about 11.30pm and had to wait for a taxi because my bus stops just a bit before then, shared it with 4 other FC fans from another coach so it hardly cost anything, had a takeaway then went to bed.
